Welcome to Perspective Psychology

Put the pieces together with us

We are a private, independent Counselling Psychology service based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Perspective Psychology is a client orientated practice that is designed to deliver a high quality, professional and confidential service to children, adults and families who are at a point in their life where psychological input can benefit them.

Our dedicated team of psychologists are all trained to Doctorate level, the highest level within the profession. Furthermore, to ensure that the treatments we provide are informed by the latest advances in psychology each psychologist continues their professional development through further specialist training.

Perspective Psychology is led by Dr Amy Dodd who is a registered Counselling Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS). This means that you can be safe in the knowledge that the service you receive is delivered by, and supervised by an approved and suitably qualified Psychologist who works within strict ethical codes that promote excellence.

Counselling Psychology is more than just listening - it is about applying psychological understanding to your problems so you can achieve your goals. It is a scientific, psychological discipline that incorporates evidence from research into practice whilst recognising the importance of a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship. The role of a Counselling Psychologist is to facilitate your journey towards better emotional and mental health.

So if you think that you are ready for a change in perspective - you have come to the right place.
